MEET THE BEST PHYSICAL THERAPISTS IN BELLEVUE
Bellevue Bone & Joint Physicians is home to some of the BEST physical therapists Bellevue has to offer. Highly trained in their areas, our physical therapists can heal your pain and get you on the road to better health.
Clyde Johnson carries the credentials of both a Physical Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist. He joined the Bellevue Bone & Joint Clinic in 2011 and helped establish a team of hand therapists who specialize in upper extremity rehabilitation. Clyde takes a collaborative approach with the surgeons and physician assistants to help maximize therapeutic interventions and limit disability after traumatic injuries. His goal for each patient is to help them define and achieve functional goals in the context of work, leisure, and home activities. Clyde specializes in the design and fabrication of simple to complex custom splints used for post-operative and conservative management of hand injuries. In addition to his clinical role, Clyde is actively involved in the education of peers and physical therapy students. He has served as guest faculty for educational courses sponsored by Bellevue Bone & Joint Physicians and the University of Washington. Course topics include treatment of chronic pain, hand and upper extremity injuries, arthritis, and sports injuries.
In addition to lecture opportunities, he has co-authored a chapter on hand therapy and is a certified clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association.
In addition to spending time with his wife and three children, Clyde enjoys skiing, cooking, and home improvement projects.

After graduate school, Megan spent six years in sunny San Diego where she spent time working in school and clinic-based pediatric therapy, inpatient, and acute rehabilitation and had the pleasure of working with the military at the Naval Medical Center (NMCSD) in the hand therapy clinic. Megan earned her Certified Hand Therapy Certification in May 2013.
With a strong interest in medical ethics, Megan served on the Ethics Committee at NMCSD. Megan was also involved in the hand therapy special interest group in San Diego. Megan looks forward to furthering her hand therapy skills at BBJP.
Megan and her husband, Jordan, moved back to the Pacific Northwest in October 2013. They look forward to spending more time with extended family, as well as skiing, cycling, running, and keeping tabs on Husky football.
Brooke is a graduate of the University of Washington, having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (1994) and a Master’s of Occupational Therapy (MOT) in 2003. She began her career as an OT working with children in hospital and school settings. Brooke has had opportunities to travel to Alaska to consult in the Wrangell School District and to instruct graduate students at the University of Puget Sound’s MOT program. During this time, she developed a special interest in the acquisition of fine motor skills in children from both the cognitive and biomechanical perspectives. This led to her specialization in the treatment of individuals with hand injuries. Brooke continues to provide instruction to Occupational Therapy and OT Assistant students during their Fieldwork, as well as working with volunteers who are interested in entering the field of OT. She is committed to assisting those with hand injuries to recover function and maintain their independence during the healing process.
Outside of work, Brooke enjoys skiing, yoga, and gardening. She and her partner Peter are expecting their first child in the spring.
