Clyde Johnson completed his physical therapy training at Eastern Washington University in 1991. He has had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings that incluse VA Hospitals, Sports Therapy and Hospital outpatient clinics. Clyde spent the last 12 years working for the University of Washington where he concentrated on outpatient orthopedics. He acquired extensive experience in hand therapy and was credentialed as a Certified Hand Therapist in 2000.
Clyde is actively involved in the education of peers and physical therapy students. He has served as guest faculty for educational courses sponsored by the University of Washington. These courses include treatment of chronic pain, hand and upper extremity injuries. In addition to these lecture opportunites, he has coauthored a chapter on the hand therapy and acts as a certified clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association.
In addition to spending time with his wife and three children, Clyde enjoys skiing, cooking and home construction projects.
