The Hand Therapy Clinic at Bellevue Bone and Joint Physicians is uniquely qualified to carry out comprehensive rehabilitation for upper extremity dysfunction due to our close collaboration with clinic surgeons.
Communication occurs through all phases of the patient’s experience to include initial surgical consultation; preoperative teaching; early post-operative intervention and bracing; individualized therapy programs; and non-surgical rehabilitation.
The therapists are experts in custom splint fabrication including complex dynamic splinting to maximize patient’s recovery and return to function; strengthening; range of motion; neuro-sensory re-education; and wound care.
